POCSO Trainer Certification
Module Overview |

This module is designed to equip participants with in-depth knowledge of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and to develop their capacity as certified trainers. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of child protection laws, various forms of sexual offences against children, and the legal procedures involved in reporting and redressal. The training focuses on building sensitivity while dealing with children, understanding child psychology, and ensuring a child-friendly approach in all interactions. It also covers mandatory reporting obligations, roles of different stakeholders (such as schools, institutions, and authorities), and the legal consequences of non-compliance. Additionally, the module emphasizes practical training skills, enabling participants to design and deliver effective awareness sessions, workshops, and training programs for diverse audiences including educators, staff, and caregivers. By the end of the certification, participants will be well-prepared to act as responsible trainers and advocates for child safety and protection.
